What’s your biggest lesson learned as an entrepreneur so far?
Having a team of people who will support you through thick and thin is crucial. It’s those relationships that were built authentically without expectation.
On managing work and life – is it all about blending or all about balancing? Why?
It’s about blending. What’s going on in our business can effect our life and what’s going on in our life can effect our business. They are both a part of us.
It really comes down to setting boundaries and priorities so it doesn’t become so blended that you don’t know where one piece starts and one begins.
Tell us the one thing that makes your dual-working military family successful?
My spouse and I are not afraid to have those hard conversations. We both support and value each others goals but we also know it’s not always going to be perfect. Instead of bottling up the things that bother us we talk about it. It allows us to both focus on what were are doing instead of being distracted by what’s going on with the other one.
Choose one: coffee, wine, water or soda?

Leave us with some wise words…
We can’t do this all on our own. We don’t know everything. The relationships we have in our lives are so important for our success.
Embrace who you are. Know it’s alright to be imperfect we all are. You will be able to connect with others on a deeper level by showing up as you every day.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself first. You can’t pour from an empty cup. If you don’t feel good your life and business will falter as well.
You can do this. Believing in yourself is crucial.
