Aminat is the founder and owner of Striving For Modesty, an online curated boutique. Originally from Nigeria but raised in Chicago, Aminat noticed how difficult it was to find modest clothes that fitted properly on women who were tall and slim as well as the rarity of finding jilbabs in the United States. This realization coupled with her natural entrepreneurial spirit is what gave birth to Striving For Modesty.
Besides owning Striving for Modesty, Aminat is also the owner of Striving for Clarity and the community development manager for Girls Love Travel, an all-women travel company. She is a Marine Corps spouse currently living Abu Dhabi with her family.
