FAYETTEVILLE, Feb. 7, 2016 – MSB New Media invites the public to a free, advanced screening of the Academy Award® nominated film, A War, presented by Magnolia Pictures.

A War tells the story of company commander Claus Pedersen and his men who are stationed in an Afghan province. Meanwhile, Claus’ wife remains in Denmark to manage everyday life with a husband at war and three children who are missing their father. During a routine mission, the soldiers are caught in heavy crossfire and in order to save his men, Claus makes a decision that has grave consequences for him and his family back home.

A War has been nominated for an Academy Award ® for Best Foreign Language Film. It is rated R for language and some war-related imagery.

The screening will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the historic Cameo Art House Theater at 225 Hay Street in historic downtown Fayetteville.

The event is open to the first 125 attendees and reservations must be made in advance. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the film begins at 7:00 p.m., admission and refreshments are free. To RSVP, please email FayettevilleScreening@gmail.com.

Immediately following the screening of A War, attendees are invited to attend a social hour at Pressed – A Creative Space at 120 Hay Street in Fayetteville. Cupcakes and beverages will be available.
