With the current state of the economy and shutdowns due to COVID-19, and while military spouse entrepreneurs and business owners are no strangers to practicing the unknown, it’s still an extremely scary and stressful time for all.
For a lot of America and maybe even the world, our new “normal” for how we do business is about to drastically change. With the military spouse community, some of us with brick and mortar businesses have had to shut down and are losing sales due to lack of customers coming in. For those of us who are service-based, our clients may be facing those same issues, resulting in a loss of clients. Influencers are losing deals because organizations and companies are having to pivot where their marketing budget is going. Simply put, there is A LOT of disruption in our businesses right now.
Milspo Media is 100% committed to the military spouse entrepreneur community of freelancers, influencers, and creatives. With that being said, the team has sparked up a BIG idea that this community, or what the Milspo Media team likes to call their “Milspouse Village,” is going to love.
The #MilspouseOwned Virtual Conference
The team will be hosting the #MilspouseOwned Virtual Conference- a fully online conference right on Facebook.
This is a FREE virtual conference taking place on April 1st and 2nd for military spouse entrepreneurs, creatives, and freelancers. It’s rooted in the purpose of sparking creativity, ingenuity, and growth in our military spouse businesses. The conference will use a peer-to-peer mentoring style, meaning the speakers and topics will come directly from our community of milspouses to help push and support us. The conference is open to anyone military-affiliated who owns their own business or is thinking about owning their own business- spouses, veterans, and retirees.
If you’re interested in being a speaker for this event, the team is looking for military spouse or military-affiliated speakers who dominate in their zone of genius- anywhere from business enrichment, wellness, and mindset.
