Let’s face it. In military life we’re all going to spend time away from our service members whether it’s a deployment, training, TDY or crazy long hours. If you’re anything like me, the first few days (or weeks) of an extended separation, you’re a hot mess and then you kind of settle into an acceptance phase and adopt a “gotta get through this” attitude.
And then, out of nowhere it creeps up on me. This weird little nagging feeling that something is missing. Typically it happens when I’m watching one of our fave TV shows (alone), or I’m laying in bed (alone), or I find a mysterious stray piece of his laundry in my fold-pile.
It’s at that moment I crave his laugh, that ever-so-slightly crooked smile and I have to do something…anything to bring him a little closer to my world.
So I do something you could classify as slightly stalkerish in any other natural, normal situation…I raid his wardrobe for clothing that still smells like him and I put it on.
And if that fails, I go to the next best thing.
I grab his deodorant and body wash and I use it so I can smell like him.
So when Old Spice reached out to us to put their brand new Hardest Working Collection to the test, we decided to take the Hardest Working Collection Challenge even further. That’s right. Both my husband and I put it to the test.
Old Spice Hardest Working Collection Makes My Hard Working Man #Smellegendary
His Old Spice Hardest Working Collection Test Results:
First of all, can we just take a moment to bask in the awesomeness that Old Spice recognizes that our male service members are some of the hardest working men out there?
And secondly, look at this…
now look at your husband.
Now back this.
You can see why my husband had no problem saying yes to taking the Hardest Working Collection Challenge from Old Spice, right?! And get this – We’ll be offering this prize pack as a giveaway very soon just for you!
Hubs Takes the Old Spice Hardest Working Collection Challenge
My husband is a long time Old Spice fan, but their new Hardest Working Collection is taking Old Spice’s premium scents and kicking them up a notch by offering the highest-performing Old Spice antiperspirants and body washes in the world.
My husband is up early and out the door before I ever step out of my pajamas. His days are long.
Like ridiculously long.
Like, are-you-coming-home-for-dinner-nevermind-why-am-I-even-asking-you-this-question long.
Needless to say, he’s one of the hardest working men I know.
I asked him to start off his day by putting Old Spice’s Dirt Destroyer Body Wash to the test. The scent? Pure Sport Plus. The result? Sudsy goodness that pretty much crossed over to greatness:
He’s a sweaty dude, so he finished up his morning routine with the Pure Sport Plus Old Spice Sweat Defense Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant. Sweat Defense is Old Spice’s “gold standard” delivering “stronger and longer sweat protection”for all-day dryness.
His verdict? “I don’t stink and my underarms are dry.”
Sounds like a win to me!
My Old Spice Hardest Working Collection Test Results:
Because I have to live and sleep with abovementioned Hardest Working Man, I couldn’t not put this challenge to my own Hardest Working Collection Challenge. We’ll call it my quality assurance test.
First of all, you know when you step into the bathroom after your significant other is finished getting ready and you can still smell the soap? The Old Spice Dirt Destroyer Body Wash scent washed over me…like woah. My man smells gooood. It really does have that perfect man smell.
I also went straight to the source.
Finally, I did the last and, dare I say, ultimate test. I showered using the Dirt Destroyer soap and I smelled legendary all day long. As a matter of fact I ran my hands over my face at the end of the day and thought, “Why do my hands smell so amazing?” And then I corrected myself. No, my hands #smellegendary.
Yeah, I will definitely stash some of this away for an inevitable lonely day in the future. You should too! Grab the Old Spice Hardest Working Collection and save $1 or more with these coupons!
