In honor of Earth Day we are giving you some ridiculously easy ways to live a little greener.
- Use a reusable water bottle instead of buying bottled water.
- Get a second trash can so you can sort out your recyclables.
- If you garden, instead of buying fertilizer, compost your food!
- Instead of tossing old electronics, donate or locate a place that will properly recycle them for you.
- Wash clothes in cold water and only wash when you have a full load.
- Use energy efficient light bulbs.
- Upcycle old things into new things.
- Use reusable grocery bags instead of plastic, bonus is that many places give offer discounts when you BYOB (bring your own bag).
- Buy local or grow your own!
- Buy secondhand when you can!
